Geochemistry Technology Course Description
The Geochemistry Technology course, offered by the Department of Applied Sciences, provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes that govern the Earth’s crust and environmental systems. The program integrates core principles of chemistry and geology, enabling students to analyze the composition and behavior of soils, rocks, water, and mineral resources.
Through a balanced approach of theoretical instruction and practical fieldwork, students gain hands-on experience in modern laboratory techniques, geochemical analysis, and environmental monitoring. The course emphasizes real-world applications, preparing learners to address challenges related to natural resource management, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
Graduates of this program are equipped with the technical and analytical skills required for careers in environmental consulting, mining and exploration, research institutions, and governmental agencies. The course also provides a strong foundation for further academic advancement in geochemistry and related scientific disciplines.
